The Haliburton Highlands Health Services provides an integrated system of health care to the residents and visitors of Haliburton County and surrounding areas. HHHS provides Ambulatory/Emergency Care, Long-Term Care and Community Health programs including the Diabetes Education Network, a Mental Health program and a Supportive Housing Service.
The Haliburton site of HHHS includes 13 patient beds & one maternity bed in their Acute Care and Emergency Departments, serving both in-patient and out-patient requirements on a 24 X 7 basis. X-ray, Physiotherapy, and the main administration offices are located at this site, as well as satellite offices for the Programs. HHHS Minden site is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Emergency Department stabilizes trauma patients prior to dispatching to larger centres, as well as providing X-ray and Physiotherapy services by appointment. Program offices for HHHS Supportive Housing and Diabetes Education are located on the second floor in the Community Health area.
