Winterfest in Minden

Well, after two years of being Queen of the Chili contest Margaret Ross ( Gramma’s
Fish & Chips ) has been dethroned of her title by The Gravity Coffee House & Cafe’.
After the news was delivered, Granny was seen taken away in her wheelchair back to Gramma’s to try and figure out what had gone wrong! She also seemed to be mumbling something about the judges for the contest but no one could really understand her in her state of shock! The new winner and title holder Gerald Willis the owner/ operator of The Gravity House was pleased at the results but also showed concern about the state of Margaret as she was led away! The fact that Gramma’s had placed 2nd in this year’s event it did not seem to help the situation!
In all seven competitors’ showed their stuff with Gravity House taking 1st place, Gramma’s taking 2nd place and Dave Allen taking 3rd place. It was a very close contest and a extra celebrity judge (Fire Chief Dick Schell) had to break the tie!
